Wrecked
Today we went snowmobiling. It was amazing and SO fun—until I crashed.
I got going a little too fast and veered off the trail a bit. I smashed into a tree. I flew up about 20 feet and rolled a few times on the trail. Thankfully, no one was hurt. My camera was fine and my phone not broken. The only thing that was damaged was the snowmobile; I had to ride back slowly to avoid another incident. All...
Grateful
On this Christmas day I am grateful for headphones with which I can escape the craziness of family yelling at each other. I am grateful for the few sane family members I’ve been sequestered with. I am also grateful that this is the last night for Christmas music. I am grateful for good friends with whom I’d rather spend my holidays. I am grateful for my gifts I have received whether I wanted or...
I am overwhelmed. The only place to escape is my tiny room that I’m sharing with my mom and it is noisy and crowded. It’s not conducive for relaxation.
There is no signal or wifi in my room. So, that means I must suffer in isolation an boredom. Thus, I am writing this with Notes, which thankfully has Helvetica as an option (yay!) for type instead of Marker Felt (ew).
Tomorrow is...
It is eerily bright out here. The cloudy moon reflected on the snow makes it so it luminesces just enough to be able to see, but it is too dark to photograph, at least not without a tripod and a super long exposure.
I just woke up to a whining dog. So, I took him out, and now I can’t sleep. Sleeping a few hours is a bad thing for me. I always wake up totally, no matter what I do. Plus, I...
In other news, I am happy to announce that the bicentennial of Astoria is being commemorated by a state-sponsored lager produced by the new Fort George brewery. I had a main hand in designing this new iconic beer packaging. It is slated for public release early next year. It is going for production very soon. I can’t express how excited I am to have been a part of this commemorative event.

I don’t want fame. I just want to make good shit for people to experience. Things don’t have to be life shattering or thrilling to make a difference. Something can change the world as simply as giving a brand a facelift. Or even making a badass poster for a good cause. Make small differences. Make people think. Because in the end, all people remember is what they thought of when they...

Whatever happened to tumblarity? I miss seeing how popular I’m not. Haha.

If there were one thing I would change about me it would be my neck/jawline. I have always had a bit of extra skin under my chin even when I’m at a healthy weight. It kind of sucks, but what can I do short of surgery? I’m not sure it is even “correctable” through surgery. It’s just the way I am.
What are you most unhappy about on/in you? I’m curious to hear.
The deep, dark place I find myself in often is only a state of hibernation. However, it is not to be taken lightly. More on this to come later. Brainstorming ideas and researching some ideas for a possible art piece or series of art pieces.
